Management Communication is a foundation course for business students, aimed at developing skills needed to communicate in a professional environment. The course will introduce students to verbal & non-verbal communication in theory and practice, with focus on letter and memo writing, use of online platforms (especially emails), report writing, delivering presentations, interacting in meetings/directed discussions and managing/creating one’s own brand image.
The methodology includes classroom/online engagement, role-play, ice-breakers, business presentations & flipped learning. The projects & assignments will be hands-on, and very rigorous, attempted at developing holistic communication skills, overcoming stage fright, and creating confident, professional individuals who are able to communicate with one or many people easily.
